About Bridget

Movement, energy and the miracle of the human body has always been of  interest to me. After earning a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and sports studies, I completed a yoga instructor training in 2015 that left me wanting more in-depth knowledge of how the body works and techniques I could employ to facilitate healing for the individuals I encountered.

In 2019, I graduated with my doctorate of physical therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, and since then I have worked in South Carolina, New Mexico, North Carolina, Colorado, Washington and now California to practice physical therapy at outpatient clinics.

Alongside my physical therapy practice I have taught yoga…

Throughout my journey, yoga, meditation, journaling and connection and discussion with other women were a helpful way for me to ground and manage stress throughout vigorous academic programming required for my study of physical therapy. It allowed me to create a space in which I could challenge myself, let go of what I did not need to carry, cry, smile, laugh, allowing me to meet myself where I was at every time and then being able to step away from that space feeling more capable than before.

Through teaching yoga, I have explored and studied healing through the chakra system (the energetic centers of the body from Eastern traditions). I have learned that much physical, emotional and spiritual healing can come when we explore and work with the seven energetic centers of the body.

My passion now is to teach and offer healing and expansion experiences for women by learning, working with and exploring the chakra system through yoga, meditation, journaling and group discussion.
